Objectives :

Historical Overview
PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V. was established in December 2004
and is owned by PRE-CAMP S.R.L. in Italy for one third and
Marnix Lie A Fat in Suriname for two third.
PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V. produces prefabricated modular
cabins/buildings and steel frame houses. After operating for
more than three years thirty one employees are on the
payroll of PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V. In the previous period
the sales have exceeded almost four million US dollars.
In October 2006 PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V. started a Branch
in Trinidad and Tobago, named PRECAMP TT Ltd. This company
submitted bids in 2006 and was successful in obtaining the
following:

US$ 2.1 million contract with the University of Trinidad and
Tobago (UTT) to construct a two storey building;
·
US$ 1.7 million contract with the Housing Development
Corporation (HDC) to design and construct 40 low cost
houses.
In 2007 PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V. signed a Distributor
Agreement with ISS Products in Guyana and is currently in
discussion to finalize a contract for French Guyana.
Scope of activities
The
main focus of PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V. is on clients who
prefer a high quality, comfortable, environmentally friendly
and custom built accommodation. PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V.
guarantees that the construction time is three times faster
than a conventional building with the same dimension.
Example: a cabin (size 600*300*240) with one door, two
windows, sanitary, electricity and a/c can be fabricated and
assembled within seven days from raw materials!!
PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V. produces six types of modular
cabins:

SL- type: Low cost
2.
Precamp – type: standard cabin
3.
Welded-type: solid structure cabin, not possible to
disassemble
4.
Bolted-type: solid structure cabin, easily disassembled
5.
Contractor’s type: super solid structure cabin
6.
Fixed type: a modified standard cabin on a concrete slab
without the original cabin floor structure
In the previous period PRECAMP SOUTH AMERICA N.V. has
supplied guard houses, personnel offices, sleep
accommodations, lavatories, medical clinics, and much more.
Technical information about the cabins:
Frame structure: galvanized steel, thickness 1.5 – 3.0 mm
Columns: galvanized steel, thickness 2.5 mm
Wall panel: 40 mm sandwich panels with polyurethane foam
core and galvanized, pre- painted sheets on both sides
Roof panel: 40 + 40 mm sandwich panels with polyurethane
foam core and 0.6 mm galvanized, pre- painted sheets on both
sides
Floor: galvanized structure with 21 mm marine plywood and
vinyl.
